Camp 1 - Still Life & Drawing Camp

I am now offering 5 day - 5 night extended art camps. We will take time to explore & record our stunning Murray River wetlands and eco systems in an artistic context.

Fully guided field trips to local wetland sites are included, as is a local restaurant meal. Intervening days will be spent in studio and amongst the Redgums on the Thule Lagoon observing, painting and developing process. The Hattah Kulkyne National Park and Lake Mungo field trip options offer a 4 day/4 night off grid experience in diverse Malle desert and outback NSW arid landscapes. The studio on Thule Lagoon is located on Barapa Barapa country, NE of Barham in SW NSW.

These camps are fully catered using local produce. The extended time period allows for a deep immersion in place & considered development of artistic response in iconic Australian landscapes. Of course, in between class there will be time for walks, studio chats, tea and campfires under the stars.

Only 4 places available on each studio camp & 3 on each off grid camp, to create a truly personal experience. You don't need to be an artist - nature lovers, birdwatchers and photographers welcome. $2250 pp includes tuition, accommodation, meals and field trips. Click below for dates and availability.
