Camp 6 - Mungo National Park
Join me on a 4 day/4 night bush camp at Mungo National Park. We will spend 4 days exploring the site, part of the Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area. Located in outback western NSW, this site with its dunes and lunettes is a mecca for Australian and international artists. As always we will focus on process with artistic and sensory exploration allowing the artist to work towards developing their own authentic, personal visual language via in depth physical experience in this iconic Australian Landscape. Guided tours will give us an understanding of the cultural importance of this place, home to Mungo Man and Mungo Lady - both dated around 40,000 - 42,000 years old - significantly making them the oldest human remains found anywhere in Australia.
